Item Description
2.5x3-1/8". Distributed by Gum Products, Inc., the cards depict two players in sepia tone photographs and were produced just prior to the United States' involvement in World War II. This issue is considered the final edition of cards under the "pre-war" banner. Carl Hubbell was one of the premier pitchers of his day and helped the Giants to three National League Pennants and one World Series Championship in 1933. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1947.
