Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 9" long tin litho toy w/built-in key. Marx, ©1939 WDP. Box features same illustration on four side panels. Box has tab of one end flap reattached w/archival tape but is o/w complete and shows lt. scattered wear. VF. Rarely found nicer. Toy design includes Pluto wearing a coat w/"Watch Me Roll Over!" text along w/facsimile signature, underside has images of his paws. Missing one original rubber ear (replacements are readily available) and wire tail has wooden ball on tip. Toy works and travels along, rolling over every so often as tail rotates. Moderate scattered small paint nicks and scratches but toy remains totally bright and glossy. Fine. Scarce w/box.
