Item Description
17x22" thin cardboard poster for Feb. 10, 1968 concert that took place at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY featuring South African singer and Civil Rights activist Miriam Makeba, Jazz legend Count Basie and His Orchestra as well as Jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery (who would pass away later that year from a heart attack). Poster features photos portraits of all three and was designed by Izzy. Poster appears to have been trimmed at top, removing marquee, and has all over moderate age spotting. Pin holes at corners w/lower left corner having tip off. Scattered moisture staining along lower right margin. VG overall. Rare.
