Velvet-covered box w/velvet/satin liner and brass fastener has attached metal plaque that reads "Ordnance Department - Royal Thai Army - Presented To Mr. Edward J. Kriwonos - 27 January 1984." Kriwonos was a 40-year US Army and Government employee who specialized in training and advising foreign military personal in various specialties including munitions, armament, missile systems, etc. Box is aged and shows some wear. Fine/VF. Miniature 11.5" long ceremonial sword has plated scabbard, ribbed grip, figural duck head pommel and guard has small brass Thai insignia attached. Some scattered aging but VF/Exc. overall.
