8.5x11.25" single-sided paper handbill for Aug. 16-17 and 23-24, 1969 concerts that took place on Randall's Island and Downing Stadium in New York City. Sonsored by Schaefer Beer, the "4th Annual World Series Of Jazz Under The Stars" featured Aretha Franklin, Booker T & The M.G.'s, Duke Ellington & His Orchestra, B.B. King, Dionne Warwick, Count Basie & His Orchestra, Redd Foxx, The Delfonics, Lou Rawls, Sarah Vaughan, Moms Mabley and others. Handbill design features various small photo portraits of the performers. Some handling wear along top margin, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection or in reflected light. VF overall. Scarce.
