Item Description
Lot of two, 1930s. First is 5x5" "Mickey Mouse Magic Show" candy wrapper by A. McLean & Son. Features Mickey, Donald, Horace and Toby in a movie theater with blank movie screen. From a series of "24 Riddles" with answer image appearing on the screen once paper was wet. This wrapper is for riddle "What Is Larger When Cut At Both Ends?" Paper lightly aged with some scattered creases, lower right has 1" tear with clear tape repair on reverse only noticeable when viewed closely. Fine. Glassine envelope is 5x7.5" and originally held Ferdinand toss-up balloon by the Oak Rubber Co. Small edge nick at right. Exc.
