Item Description
9x12" program w/glossy stiff paper cover and 24 pages. Issued for 1958 concert featuring Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and The Crickets, Chuck Berry, Frankie Lymon and others. Cover features photos of the performers as well as portrait of American disc jockey Alan Freed. Contents include photos and text on Freed and all the performers. Lymon (1942-1968) has signed his photo page in blue ink, adding "Always" inscription. Jerry Lee Lewis has also signed his photo page. Program has also been signed by Billy Ford (of Billy Ford & The Thunderbirds) on title page; Richard Travis, Dickey Doo (of Dickey Doo & The Dont's) on band's photo page; The Chantels members Sonia Goring, Arlene Smith, Jackie Landry and Renée Minus on the band's photo page (each adding "Chantels" name) and Lillie Bryant (of Billie & Lillie) on the musical duo's photo page. Inside front cover has been signed by Richard Travis (who adds "The Pastel[s]" band name) while inside back cover has been signed by Jayne Lesley and Joe Smith. Program features two additional unidentified signatures. Program has vertical crease running through entirety w/heavy crease on front/back covers, which show scattered color rubs and pinch creases to spine. VG overall w/Fine interior pages. Signatures remain distinct and display VF to Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
