Item Description
Beneath the celluloid covering, accented by a gold edge, is a 6.5" dot screen photograph showing a gigantic steam engine with five crew members posed in the foreground. To the left is the coal car and a freight car. Reverse is concave wood grain brown metal with two small cutouts as made along the top edge with a replacement copper wire so the piece can be suspended for display. Reverse has second pair of cutouts(as made) that would have held a wire easel to stand the piece vertically but that would be the incorrect positioning for this particular piece which is in a horizontal format. Early 1900s and NM with high gloss. A striking photograph and likely a unique celluloid.
