Item Description
The Democratic convention in 2016 in Philadelphia was attended by 4,763 delegates many of whom received the Hillary logo  3" "Delegate" button. This has a tiny 1/16" cut in the mylar surface at the upper right. The role of the "Whip Captain" at the convention was to facilitate communications of all types to a specified group of delegates within a delegation. Because some state delegations were so large, there could be several Whips, but even so, with a total of only 57 delegations, this is a Hillary button received by only 200-300 people, most of whom retained it. This example, while bagged, rubbed a pin which removed a tiny surface dot of mylar at the bottom of the letters 'ti" of Democratic.  Both buttons are Exc. with the two small exceptions noted and the Whip Captain is among the scarcest of the official Hillary buttons.
