Item Description
11.5x17.5 artboard has pen and ink original art w/screentone accents by "Cerebus" creator Dave Sim and Gerhard. Art was for page 10 of "Cerebus" #112/113 (as noted at top margin) published by Aardvark-Vanaheim Press July/Aug. 1988. Page features six panels, showing Cerebus (or at least a portion of him in the first five panels), viewing broken door from inside building and slowly walking away. First three panels features nice images of Cerebus looking directly at viewer. Fourth and fifth panels have stat paste-overs of bkg. including door. Cerebus is all original art/screentone in these panels. Panel borders are stat strips and artboard has had paper backing added. Top margin has black ink "To Brian - Best Wishes And Thanks For Your Support" inscription that has been signed by both Sim and Gerhard. Some lt. margin smudging, but art remains clean and Exc.
