Item Description
Each is a 3.25x5.5" tri-fold novelty advertising card w/green and red cellophane designed to reveal candidate of choice at center. First has text "Pick The Winner" on cover and features portraits of Coolidge and John W. Davis. Reverse has advertising for "Penn Trust Company Norristown, PA." Second has text "Democratic Progress/Republican Prosperity" respectively on cover and features portraits of Smith and Hoover. Reverse has advertising for a Chevrolet dealership in St. Louis, MO. The cellophane covers that allow the viewing of each portrait have small tears and minor loss but remain in place and function perfectly. Each card has slight waviness and does not lay flat. Overall both are Fine. First example of these 1924 and 1928 novelties we can recall encountering.
