Item Description
Post cards are 3.25x5.25" and include: tri-photo w/McCarthy as a tail gunner, doing paper work in office and providing intelligence briefing to pilots, reverse is post marked Aug 7, 1946; smiling portrait w/1946 post mark on reverse (1.5" horizontal tear repaired on reverse w/clear tape, Good) and "Joe McCarthy" brown tone portrait. Unless noted all have moderate handling and corner wear, Fine. Next are 13 lapel pieces including ten buttons, two tabs and a fabric pin back in the shape of Wisconsin reading "Joe McCarthy". These span McCarthy's 1946 and 1952 Senate campaigns including his opponents, four pieces from recall efforts plus 1960s era "Joe McCarthy For President" and "Rehabilitate Senator Joe McCarthy" buttons. All are VF to Exc.
