Item Description
First is 2-3/8" tall with brass shell figure of The Yellow Kid on a brass stickpin. He holds what seems to be newspapers under one arm and with one in one hand which is appropriate and logical since he made his fame appearing in New York newspaper comic strips. Bit of flesh colored paint off his forehead and a little yellow paint off the center of his nightshirt but overall this piece has much more paint than is typically seen. Stickpin is a little pushed over to one side on the reverse but firmly attached. VF. Next are two comic novelty items each once attached to a rubber tube and squeeze ball to shoot water from a tiny hole at the center of the mouth to the shock of the intended target. Each about 1" tall with a .25" white metal extension on the reverse to join the rubber tube. Foxy is finished in a very deep red metallic paint with about 75% remaining while Happy has a dark green metallic finish with about 70% remaining. Three VF items for historic comic characters.
