Item Description
These famous cereal give-away buttons were created by the master of premiums for kids, designer Sam Gold. Millions of these 13/16" litho buttons went into post-war cereal boxes issued as five sub-sets of 18 (each sub-set including Superman) over a three year period so that in the end 86 different buttons comprised a set. The two extra buttons in this group are shown as the Row 1, #1 item from the back so that the Kellogg's Pep logo can be seen. The front of the button shows the character Beezie and does have some tan age marking. The other extra is a sealed clear cellophane pack as inserted into the cereal box and this contains a button picturing Uncle Willie who is  also included (unsealed) as part of the set of 86. This is a particularly high grade set with the 86 buttons being bright, clean and glossy ranging from just a couple in Exc. condition to the vast majority which are NM to Mint. One of the few sets so carefully assembled there is no need to upgrade any item.
