Item Description
4.75x6.75x1.25" deep box w/nicely illustrated lid contains toy which stands 6.5" tall to top of frame (a larger, 8" tall version was also produced w/a taller Mickey Mouse figure and totally different box art). Made in Japan, 1930s and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corporation. Box includes image of the toy on lid, two side panels depict Mickey and Minnie Mouse holding hands in the moonlight while two other sides depict Mickey playing a piano upon which Minnie sits. Moderate box wear w/three .25" to 1" puncture lines to main panel and 2" tear at upper left corner of lid. Glue repair to 7/8" side panel tear but corners remain tight. VG but still nice for display. Toy consists of wire metal frame w/built-in key and attached 4" tall celluloid Mickey figure. Works well. Figure has tiny hole at bottom of body seam, but is o/w free of any cracks/dents and is VF/Exc. overall. Scarce as boxed.
