5.75" tall, mostly tin litho with built-in key by Marx, Japan ©1968. This is one of two different versions produced, both of which are pictured on side panels of original box. See other variety #1412. Top of the lid itself pictures this version. Lid is missing staple at one corner, top right corner has .5" spot of missing surface paper but bright and VF. This version of the toy has mostly yellow front of body and back has simulated craters. Toy works. Travels forward as it opens and closes it's mouth and produces a clicking sound. Has pair of rubber antennas and movable eyes. Has tiny scattered paint nicks but remains totally bright and glossy. VF.
