Item Description
11.5x17" die-cut display complete w/easel back contains complete amount of a dozen 3.5" long tin kazoo-like pipes w/cardboard bowls w/printed paper illustrations. Northwestern Products, ©1934 King Features Syndicate. Card features great Popeye graphic at top showing him using pipe w/"It Ain't Blowin What Makes Musik Y'Got To Hum Inta It" text. Rest of card features Popeye supporting characters including Olive Oyl and Wimpy using pipes. Display has even moderate aging and some corner tip wear (more prevalent at bottom corners, which have some creasing). Fine overall. Pipes are unused and show just trace aging. Eight have the typically missing rubber mouthpiece bands. Exc. Rare display, the only example we've offered in our 51 years.
