Item Description
2.75x3.25" card stock sales card w/text "Our Candidate/For 1904." Card has age toning, damp stains and holes from pin mounting at center. 3/4x1-1/2" embossed brass in the shape of a lamp w/pointed top. When closed the front displays a clear cello. cover, designed to resemble the beveled parabolic of a powerful searchlight lens, w/paper label under reading "The Trust Searchlight." When catch at right is released a spring flies open the door revealing sepia toned real photo portraits of Fairbanks and Roosevelt. Brass has trivial spots of toning w/photos remaining essentially Mint. A truly rare and outstanding artifact for 'The Trust Buster' TR. Only the second example we have seen in 51 years and almost certainly the only example that has a surviving original sales card.
