Item Description
9.25" long. Embossed gilt hanger at top has eagle motif and reads "Republican" w/"1892" in a small shield at center. A cream ribbon at top reads "Aid Second Division" and is sewn at left corner to backing ribbon w/gilt text "Republican Demonstration Wed. Nov. 3 1892 Providence R.I. Harrison And Reid For 1892." Band of light brown toning affecting the date text and minor wear at lower right. VF. A rare badge that is the first we can recall encountering.
