Item Description
Unlicensed but 1930s. Made in Japan. 5.75" dia. child's alphabet/numbers feeding dish w/nice graphics of Mickey Mouse and Betty Boop walking and waving w/church in bkg. and images of two dogs running around them. Marked "Made In Japan" on underside. Some scattered wear to orange rim accent. VF/Exc. 7.5" dia. plate w/Spanish text on rim and central image of Mickey and Betty in toy carriage being pulled by wheeled toy horse. Rim has different Betty image and repeat Mickey image as well as repeat toy horse image. Some typical crazing, but o/w Exc. Comes w/3.5" dia. by 1-5/8" tall rice bowl w/images of Mickey w/magic top hat on one side and Betty portrait opposite. This is interspersed w/flags images including the flags of the Empire of Japan and the Imperial Japanese Navy flag. Inner rim has .75" repair to surface flaking/chip. VG. Wonderful images of two of the most popular animated characters in history.
