Item Description
The brass shell is listed as Hake #3199 and is c. 1888. The shell is comprised of six star arms each accented by a five arm star all set against a burst design background. At the center is a cardboard photo. Unlike the book example, a loop joins the shell to a 2.5" tall ribbon with woven crossed flags. No reverse pin as meant to be worn using a straight pin. Muted luster as made. NM.
