Item Description
6.75" long w/"The W. M. Young Regalia Co. Springfield, Mass." paper label on reverse. Near top of ribbon is a brass frame w/cello insert "President." Ribbon is attached under the collet of the filled metal back of the button. Several bits of surface fabric missing most notably in the blue field just below the hanger and a light brown stain at center affecting "Hampden," VG. The 1.75" dia. portrait button has only minor wear, Exc.  A strikingly sharp and high contrast image w/copyright "Harris & Ewing" in field at 8 o'clock. The only example of this rare 1912 badge that we have seen. Ron Koot Collection.
