Item Description
7-1/8x7.25" hardcover trifold book w/door design flanked by Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Jiminy Cricket opens to reveal elaborate stage design w/pop-up stage front decorated w/Minnie Mouse and Pinocchio playing music w/pop-up die-cut cardstock panel above featuring Mickey, Thumper, Hiawatha and Happy. Stage backdrop has curtain "frame" that was designed to hold Disney character handkerchiefs. 1940s. Balcony seating is filled w/18 Disney characters, including - all Seven Dwarfs, Horace Horsecollar, Bambi, the Three Little Pigs, Joe Carioca and others. No hankies included. Book shows some wear, w/.75" split at top left spine and some inking on blank back cover. Fine overall. Wonderful design. Rare and first we've offered in our 51 years.
