Item Description
Each of these rings was advertised by Kellogg's over the Superman radio program. The ring with a silver airplane that fits on a brass luster base was issued by Pep. The ring with a nickel-plated base and a black jet plane was issued by Corn Flakes. Designs on the ring bases are identical. The Corn Flakes version referred to the airplane as a "F-87 Super Jet" Wings are embossed "Curtis F-87.". Both planes fit on a prong on the ring top and when a small lever is depressed they fly into the air. Both are essentially Mint examples.
