Item Description
11x14" title card for the original release of the 1957 Universal-International Sci-Fi monster film directed by Nathan Juran and starring Craig Stevens, William Hopper, Alix Talton and Pat Conway. Title card features great image of the titular giant insect scaling the Washington Monument as tanks and jets fire upon it. Card features six illustrated panels showing scenes from the film. Lower right has frightened couple. Staple holes at corners, surface paper lift (w/color/pencil touch-up) to tip of Washington Monument and Mantis' claw. Two small holes at illustrated panels area. Margins have some scattered staining. Fine overall.
