Item Description
Lot of four 11x14 lobby cards (including title card) for the original release of the 1956 Universal-International Sci-Fi film about a race of subterranean "Mole People" who are kept underground by a race of Sumerian albinos for use as slaves. Great title card features elements of Joseph Smith's one-sheet poster design. Cards 3, 5 and 7 all feature nice images of the Mole People, including a great close-up on card #3. Title card has vertical crease at left and all cards are evenly aged w/varying degrees of handling wear. Title card has staple holes and pin holes at corners/margin as well as some pin holes running along horizontal center of card. Still Fine for display purposes. Card #3 has pin holes along right margin and staple holes at top center. Some faint margin staining at upper left, but is o/w Fine/VF. Card #5 has several pin holes at corners and top/bottom center margins, as well as a few in image area; one w/.25" pull just below title. VG. Card #7 has pin holes at top/bottom center and some lt. edge wear at lower right corner. Fine.
