Item Description
14x18-1/8" poster for original Belgian release of the 1956 Universal-International Sci-Fi film about a race of subterranean "Mole People" who are kept underground by a race of Sumerian albinos for use as slaves. Poster is dominated by great image of Mole Man w/unconscious bathing suit beauty by film's title. Top marquee margin has been trimmed and has remnants of theater paste-over. Tax stamp at lower right. Poster has horizontal and vertical fold (w/tape repair/reinforcement at fold crease intersection on back) and shows scattered margin wear w/pin holes at corners and some small tears. Tape repair to right margin on back. VG overall, but could be framed for nice display as main image area remains clean and poster retains vivid color.
