Item Description
27x40.75" one-sheet poster for the original release of the 1957 Sci-Fi film about an invasion of giant insects directed/produced by Bert I. Gordon and starring Peter Graves, Peggie Castle and Morris Ankrum. Poster features great image of giant bugs attacking city at top w/cast fighting back at bottom. Poster has been folded as issued and has some wear along fold lines and fold crease intersections. Pin holes along margins w/a few pin holes in image area. Small hole at lower left (on Peter Graves' green jacket collar). Top corners have number of small holes to image area. Bottom fold crease intersection has brown paper tape backing and bottom horizontal fold line has paper tape repair on back to edge tear. Corners each have 6" diagonal crease, but these blend somewhat. Fine overall and would make for nice framed display.
