Item Description
27x41" one-sheet poster for the original American release of the 1959 Hammer Horror film directed by Terence Fisher and starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. The film was distributed in the US as part of a double bill w/either the Vincent Price movie "The Bat" or the Universal film "Curse Of The Undead." Classic poster shows The Mummy (Lee) shuffling through foggy moor as police fire upon him, a policeman's flashlight shining through large hole in his body. Poster has been folded as issued w/wear to fold crease intersections including small hole at bottom. Fold lines have some splits at margin edges; most are minor w/exception of 1.25" split at bottom center. Lower right margin has .5" spot of staining. Pin holes at some corners and along margins, some w/pulls. Poster is Fine overall and would make for nice framed display.
