Item Description
1.25" w/concave metal back and horizontal bar pin. "© 1936" at lower left of cream field at center. Tiny text on curl reads "M. M. Bear" w/address in Chicago. Slogan at bottom reads "Rally To Constitution, Flag & Prosperity" w/"American Constitution" at top. Center has silhouette of horse drawn "GOP" wagon w/American flag and additional slogan "It Stood From Washington Until Trampled Upon By Roosevelt/It Was Good Enough For Our Forefathers It Is Good Enough For Me." Despite the throngs of Republicans who felt FDR's 'New Deal' programs exceeded his constitutional authority and given the extreme rarity of this button it must not have been a popular seller during its era. A few scattered tiny hairline scratches visible in reflected light. Exc. displaying Mint. Superlative construction and design.
