Item Description
Each of these plastic frames is 1" tall designed as a charm and distributed via gumball machines. The top two rows were issued c. late 40s, the next two rows have plastic frames dating more from the 1950s and the bottom row, all with Popeye characters hold two image flicker picture of the 1960s era. Some of the earliest charms are missing some silver luster but vast majority remains. These have a single inserted character image whereas the three charms in row four are in clear plastic frames with an image on both the front and back. In the top row are Flash Gordon and Dale Arden. There are two frames showing Fritz but one in silver and one in gold. Second row includes The Phantom. In the bottom row two of the items are identical showing Popeye/Swee' Pea but in different color frames. 23 pieces in all. Vast majority VF to Exc.
