Item Description
Each is a 13/16" litho, like the previous item #973, issued 1945 to 1947 with 15 known in the full set. These are four of the eight designs that have artwork different than that appearing on the Kellogg's Pep buttons. In this group the Steve Canyon button has a little paint rub by his nose and a 1/16" dot off the bottom edge. A couple small oxidation dots on the side edge but none of this is on the front. Fine. The other three buttons are Exc. to NM and the double character buttons are particularly scarce. See next related lot.
