Item Description
5.25x8.25x4.25" tall tin container which has removable lid and carrying handles. Made in Italy, 1930s. Inside of lid has faint text including biscuit company name "Saiva" as well as "Genova." Lid depicts Mickey Mouse w/top hat and cane standing next to Minnie Mouse. Sides feature ice skating scene of Mickey, Minnie and nephew and this is repeated on each side although some of the character images differ slightly. Lid has scattered paint wear from handles and is evenly aged. VG/Fine. Rest of tin has scattered wear along top rim from side. Images remain bright and distinct. Interior shows moderate aging to silver flashing. Fine overall. Rare.
