Item Description
Adco Liberty Mfg. Corp. c. 1954. Metal lunchbox features Mickey Mouse scene w/Pluto pulling "School Bus" cart carrying Donald Duck's nephews to school on front panel while back panel features Donald on picnic w/his nephews, an angry bull about to charge upon seeing Donald waving a red napkin. Embossed Mickey silvered metal attachment at top edge. Both scenes feature the characters w/this lunchbox. Band features portraits of Mickey, Donald and Pluto as well as Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Goofy. Moderate rim wear (w/areas of bare metal visible along back, which is VF), but aside from panel, rest of box displays Fine. 8.25" tall metal thermos w/plastic cap features wraparound repeated Mickey image from box and is Exc. Scarce lunchbox w/rare thermos.
