Item Description
2.5" dia. Cardboard w/glass. Reverse has "The Race To The White House/National Toy And Puzzle Co. Williamsport, PA." Beneath glass cover are four balls each within a colored paper circle. Text at top reads "McKinley- Gold/Bryan-Silver/Woolley- Blue/Swallow- Black." A depiction of the White House is at center with three rivers, each labeled "Up Salt River" surrounding it. Game instructions read "Put Your Choice In The White House And His Opponents Up Salt River." Along edge at 3 o'clock is a .75" area of surface paper lift that has a loss of less than .25" at center. Moderate edge wear w/glass top slightly loose. Graphics within remain bold and the game retains all of its charming character. Overall VG. Given the age and fragility of the cardboard this is an amazing survivor and the first we can recall offering in our 51 years. Ron Koot Collection.
