Item Description
These are six scarce buttons with Muchinsky's book values totalling $640. The first four buttons appear on page 167 and these are button numbers 23-26. The "Win Twins" button has 1/8" pale tan mark on the letter "T" and the very slightest trace of tone on the outer edge white circle. The team logo button with the players in yellow uniforms has the slightest age tone along the lower left, a pinpoint grey dot at 9 o'clock and the most minor soiling traces over the button's face. The remaining two buttons are number 266 from page 483 and 270 from 485 of the "World Series" book section. The 3.5" "1965 Champs" does not have a pin on the reverse and there is a 1.5" diameter thin layer of adhesive with a thin layer of surface paper at the center of the reverse. Front still displays Mint. The 6" team photograph button was made without a pin on the reverse and the larger die cut portion of the fold-out cardboard easel is missing. Reverse also has a few random glue marks on the cardboard. Button front remains Mint. Book button numbers 24-25 are also Exc. to NM. Scarce group.
