Item Description
7" long hand-painted plaster ashtray w/recessed area in Hitler's mouth for ashes or to stub out cigarette/cigar. Bassons Dummy Products, 1943. Part of a series that included Mussolini and Tojo (see items #851-852). Underside has Bassons paper label referring to ashtray set as "The Jack-Axis" w/"They're Mostly Mouth We All Agree - The Men We Call The Axis Three - Here's A Likeness Of Their Face - Dump Your Refuse In The Proper Place." Ashtray and label have lt. scattered wear/aging. Chipping to edges and small edge piece missing on left ear. VG overall. Scarce w/original label. Great anti-Axis caricature image.
