Item Description
10" tall velvet w/stuffed head w/felt ears, oilcloth eyes (one is paper replacement). Complete w/string whiskers, which are usually missing. 1930s. Missing Steiff button from left ear but small Steiff cardboard tag is attached below neck, which has .5" seam split. Mother-of-pearl buttons remain intact. 1/8" hole to one ear and puppet has even moderate aging, face now appears tan. Green pants have faded. Scattered surface wear to velvet. VG example of this classic Steiff.
