Item Description
Same design as the previous button but this is the only example we can recall in the larger 2" size and in addition this one has no text indicating its use by a salesman to solicit orders. Bottom front includes W&H copyright information and on the reverse there is a blank paper insert filling the opening and at its center is a .75" sticker reading "Whitehead & Hoag Co./New York Office/253 Broadway". Only the tiniest traces of wear seen in reflected light. Exc. and displays Mint. Rare in this form.
