Item Description
Buttons are 1" to 2.25" plus there is a 4" tall ribbon badge. Each item names Missouri or one of its well known cities. Group begins with one picturing a prairie dog with reference to "Are You A Mound Builder" with 1903 date. Couple of pinpoint nicks off the extreme edge and a slight dent but still displays well. Second, and missing a ribbon once suspended below names "Deutscher Tag" held during the world's fair with remaining text "Sept. 4. 1904, East. St. Louis." Next is large rare button reading "World's Fair/Missouri Day/Oct. 11th, 1904." Lower rim has faded red color but still extremely clean and with high gloss. Reverse is covered in tin with vertical pin and stamp by maker St. Louis Button Co. Remaining items in the bottom row are from Perryville, 1905,  a business in Kansas City, a promotion for Ozark land, a 1917 issue from Kansas City's Chamber Of Commerce showing spouting oil wells and a train, ribbon badge promoting "St. Joseph" with ribbon text naming "Missouri Valley Veterinary Association" plus 1917 date. Last are a pair, in two different sizes, reading "St. Joseph Shows You". Some very light stain on the edges of the Ozark item. Overall except as noted, Exc. to NM.
