Item Description
12x15-5/8" mat features single panel pen and ink original art from Nov. 16, 1958 Sunday page No. 1136, panel measuring 7.75x11.5". Panel features art by legendary "Prince Valiant" artist Hal Foster (1892-1982), showing Aleta stripped down to her shift, about to take a swim in pool as Queen Guinevere's twins Karen and Valeta pull at her. Attendant is seen bringing towels in bkg. Hand-lettered text panel is paste-over at bottom. Foster has signed art at upper right. Art remains clean and Exc. Ready for framing.
