Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 6.5" tall tin litho toy w/nice early depiction of Lone Ranger on rearing Silver. Marx, ©1938 The Lone Ranger, Inc. This is silver luster version, not the more typically seen white version. Box has even moderate aging and shows some scattered wear, including .25" puncture to one top inner flap and some scattered creases. Fine overall. Lone Ranger has pistol in left hand and wire lasso above his head. When wound, original lasso twirls rapidly. Left arm is thin tin litho piece which moves around a bit as lasso is twirled. Scattered lt. wear to luster on Silver w/some scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches but color remains strong and overall appearance remains glossy. Works well. VF. Scarce as boxed.
