7x9x1.5" deep illustrated cardboard box w/perforated display lid (which has been mostly punched) contains Acme movie viewer set No. 400, ©1940 The Lone Ranger. Box text includes "New Deluxe Movie Views Of The Lone Ranger In Movie Style." Lid is designed for retailer to push up lid and fold behind back insert for display purposes and lid is loose along hinge. Box is evenly aged w/corner tip wear and heavy crease to back side panel. VG/Fine. Box insert is illustrated w/Lone Ranger and Tonto Western scene. Insert holds three numbered film boxes and fourth filmstrip (#1) is inside viewer. Other include #1 and #4 as boxed w/matching numbers while other box is marked #3 and comes w/film #9; likely a factory error. Films are Mint as boxed. 3" long hard plastic viewer is NM.
