Item Description
22x31"thin cardboard w/"Globe Poster Baltimore" at bottom center. Poster advertises a show at "Little John Coliseum Clemson, S.C." on "Sat. Nov 4". At center is a large day-glo bubble w/text "Beach Boys" and featuring a photo of the band at left including Brian Wilson at top left. Above the bands name are songs "Long Promised Road" and "Add Some Music To Your Day". Eight areas of tape residue in corners and one each at center edges, these are mostly small w/only one barely affecting the edge of the photo at left. Light handling wear most notably a light corner bend at bottom right. VF. By the 1970s the use of these classic cardboard concert posters had waned and w/the proliferation of psychedelic art on rock 'n roll posters boxing style concert posters from this era are rare. This is the first example of this splendid Beach Boys poster we can recall encountering.
