Item Description
21.25x28-1/8" first and only printing poster on coated index stock. Poster was for two series of concerts that took place at Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA in 1970. Nov. 19-22 concerts featured Love with Arthur Lee, James Gang and Black Sabbath. Nov. 26-29 concerts featured Sha-Na-Na, Elvin Bishop and Tower of Power. Poster art by Norman Orr features Native American elder at top center w/Native American war chief holding peace pipe beside nude woman. Lower portion of poster features heart motif, w/heart above Native American and nude woman and additional hearts at lower left/right, featuring the Quaker Oats mascot in one and a horned Medusa in the other. Both heart have additional images of Native Americans within. Minor corner bump at lower right and some lt. scattered edge wear (more notable along upper left). VF/Exc.
