Item Description
6.25x8-7/8" single-sided handbill for Feb. 3, 1960 concert revue that took place at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh, PA. Advertised as "The Biggest Show Of Stars For 1960!" the concerts was headlined by Frankie Avalon and also featured Clyde McPhatter, Bobby Rydell, Johnny and The Hurricanes, The Crests, Freddy Cannon, Sammy Turner, Linda Laurie, The Isley Bros., The Clovers and "England's No. 1 Singing Sensation" Cliff Richards. All are represented by photos and handbill is designed like the classic boxing style concert posters of the era. Top and bottom center margin have .5" aged squares of tape (w/.25" edge flake at top) and handbill has been folded; three vertical folds and two horizontal w/some wear along fold lines. Scattered edge wear. VG overall.
