Item Description
7.5x10.75x.75" deep illustrated cardboard box has lid graphics showing four titles surrounded by Christmas theme ornaments and wreath. Published by Gilberton. c. 1940s. Titles/numbers include comic books pictured on lid - "Robin Hood" #7 HRN 97, "Gulliver's Travels" #16 HRN 89, "Alice In Wonderland" #49 HRN 85 and "Joan Of Arc" #78 HRN 87. Comic books have some aging/wear w/some pinch creases at spines. Fine overall. Box lid has handling wear w/tape repair to split side. Some lt. age spots. Box bottom has all corners split, two are taped. VG. All of these gift boxes are scarce, especially with the books included. Richard Calusdian Collection.
