Item Description
Beany is 11" tall and Cecil is 9.5" tall. c. 1949 by Chemi-Plastic of Los Angeles CA. Beany has fabric outfit, vinyl head with lifelike hair and felt beanie. The beanie has an aluminum propeller, possibly replaced by Walker as others we have seen were plastic. Fabric has pulled loose from one staple at neck but remains firmly attached. Slight fading to beanie. Moderate aging to body. Fine. Cecil is all vinyl with painted accents. Has Bob Clampett copyright. Bottom rim has series of 1/8" diamond-shaped holes which appear as made although serve no purpose. Moderate scattered aging with some small traces of paint wear. Fine. From the personal collection of Walker Edmiston.
