Item Description
Complete set of the first 24 presidents, Washington through McKinley, each in 7/8" size and stating their name and years in office. The set was made by Whitehead & Hoag with 23 having their name only backpaper and 1 (Tyler) naming W&H as well as American Pepsin Gum. The set was produced after McKinley's March, 1897 inauguration and was used as a give-away by advertisers or it could be purchased directly from W&H for 50¢. Of the four sets we've sold over the past ten years, this is the only one with every button grading NM to Mint. The best condition set obtainable.
