2-1/4x2-3/8" tin rimmed cello badge holed at right and left as produced by "Baldwin & Gleason". By 1896 cycling was among the most popular activities in the US. Wheelman's clubs had sprung up throughout the country and began wielding political power. This badge, intended for mounting on the front of a bicycle, allowed the rider to display their affinity for the 1896 Republican nominee. NM displaying Mint.
